Shenanigans

This week we signed Emma up for her first activity. Any guesses? I bet you'll all be shocked to know she picked dance class ;). So after we dropped off her registration papers, I took her to pick out her ballet shoes or "ballerina flippers" as she called them. She is so excited! And she asks me on a daily basis when she's going to get to go to dance class. I can't wait for her open house so she can meet her teacher and classmates. My mom also surprised her with this leotard. It's not the one she'll wear in class, but she's pretty obsessed with it. And she's mighty adorable if I do say so myself.
Yesterday I braved the grocery store with all 3 for the first time. Although, Emma and Wyatt were on the verge of brawling the entire time and I had to keep distracting them with slices of turkey, it went surprising well. Getting home was the real show. 3 crying, hungry kids. 4 bags of groceries. I only have so many arms.. But we survived! Also as a side note, if you see a woman at the store with multiple children, instead of offering your (often rude) unsolicited opinion, how about offering help? Like hold a door, help me pick up my tortillas my kid just threw across the aisle. If not? Hold your tongue. I don't need to hear "don't you know what causes that?!" 4 thousand times as I hurriedly shop. I don't offer my opinions on your choices, so please be kind :)
Lastly, this is Hattie bear's idea of tummy time. She just turns that precious face to the side and watches Emma and Wyatt play. But if you lay that girl on your chest, she summons up uncanny neck strength like that of a 2 year old. Babies and their tiny bird necks, I could eat it with a spoon y'all.

Hope y'all have a great weekend! I'm soaking up every second I have with my people!
